Lately
A running log of what I've been up to.
- Finished The Power Broker.
It took me ~1.6 years but was very enjoyable and well worth it. - Ran my first 10k trail run at China Camp.
Finished first in my age group! It helped that I didn't get grouped with the faster 20 or 40 year olds. - Visited the Bay Model.
Cool to see at scale. - Hiked to the top of Bear Peak in Boulder, CO.
Challenging but rewarding! - Shipped marketflip.xyz where you can flip probability-weighted coins.
In 4 flips Spain won the World Cup 1 time. - Planted a flower garden.
Picked up free compost from the city of Berkeley. I'm told that this will fill out more in the coming months. - Attended the Musk v. Altman trial.
Got there around 6am to wait in line and made it into the courtroom to watch day 6. First time observing a trial. - Volunteered as an actor in a "Mass Casualty Incident" drill.
I was playing a patient with a gunshot wound to the calf. Shoutout to the makeup team (and sorry for the gore). - Went on a walk with the Berkeley Path Wanderers Association.
We did a sunset walk through Trestle Glen (technically in Oakland).
